Denise Eckstadt Christmas Miracle Baby Jesus

BABY JESUS IS MISSING

This year I wanted to express to others the true meaning of Christmas.  I decided to look for a nativity scene to put on display at my office.

When I was Christmas shopping, I saw a nativity scene but it was marked “Baby Jesus is Missing”. I decided, “Oh, well” I will buy it anyway and see what I can find to match the ceramic figures.

On the weekend I was searching through some boxes which contained items that had belonged to my Mother, Denise Eckstadt, who passed away in September of this year.

Soon my hand touched a small figurine.  It was a small baby wrapped in a blue blanket.  Amazed, I looked at it again and tears came to my eyes.  For some reason, my Mother had kept this tiny baby figurine.  It was just the right size to complete the nativity scene depicting the birth of our Saviour. I felt very comforted as I placed Baby Jesus beside the figure of his Mother, Mary, and knew it was meant to be. The Nativity Scene was now complete. Baby Jesus had been found.

What a special Christmas miracle!!

My sister Roselyn Phare shared this wonderful miracle with me in December.  On September 27, 2009,  it will be a year since our Mom Denise Eckstadt passed away, but the memory is so fresh and Mom is always in our thoughts.  This was a wonderful, loving miracle for all of our family.

Thanks, Roselyn, for sharing this with us!   In Memory Of Denise Eckstadt

This brought tears to my eyes but made me smile, remembering and knowing the love in your family. I barely knew your mother but this so fits the person I knew so briefly.

    Love,
    Gladys.

That story is so beautiful especially in the way it brings your sister and all of you so much closer to your mother and those memories you have of her. I’m always so moved the way this season brings so many people together – strangers and families alike.

Thank you for sharing this story and I wish you all the peace and joy that this blessed season brings.

    Merry Christmas Diana!

Thanks Diana for sharing this lovely family miracle. Christmas always reminds me of our Savior’ Jesus’ birth. It is also a time for family gathering together and remembering those past and present.
