Well – I am 61 years “old”

I can’t believe it!  Above is a photo of me with one of my sisters, Roselyn Phare, taken last week.

I’m amazed too!  I feel and think AGELESS….. I feel maybe age 45 at the most, in biological years.  I’ve worked hard, though, this is not coincidence!

Many of my friends are in their 30s and 40s.  Many friends who are in their 50s or more are Sunriders and they look younger every year!

Thanks, Rob, when you said today:  you’re not 61 Diana, get out!

I appreciated that!  You have worked so much on yourself, and you are an inspiration, so it was great to hear that from you!!

I work very hard at staying healthy.    I eat well and exercise, meditate/pray, walk, do yoga, swim, keep my stress levels down, keep a balance in my life, engage in businesses that uplift and help other people, earn honest and abundant money, spend time with family and friends.

For me, if I wasn’t eating the Sunrider Whole Foods daily, these other healthy habits would not be possible – I wouldn’t have the energy to exercise like I do, I would still be stressed and having hormonal and money problems,  I would still be craving sugar and coffee, and so on.

I’m so happy to be 61, and HEALTHY and able to enjoy life.  My whole purpose in life is helping others on the path to abundance in health and wealth.

“Health isn’t everything, but everything is nothing without health” is my favorite quote.

  4. Hi LaTara,
Thank you SO much for your comment, my friend.

“My friend, my role model! Enjoy this day and love your life.”

You are also my role model! I admire you very much – and I know you will keep that powerful life force and vibrancy that you have – you are helping so many people with your Vegan resources also.
    Thanks again!

  5. Wow, you look amazing!!! Are you sure you’re 61?!!! I can only hope to look as good when I get to that age:)

Wishing you a wonderful birthday!!! And many more too:)

  6. Hi Dr Daisy!

Thank you, thank you! What wonderful compliments!

I’m sure you will look and feel awesome too, since you follow such a wonderful healthy lifestyle.

Of course, you have more stress (even though it is a “good” stress) in your life than I do, with homeschooling 5 children (I had 2 boys and I can’t even imagine how busy it must be with more!)… so I admire all that you do, also. You have to be incredibly organized to do what you do!

Thanks again for your lovely comments.

  8. Hei Diane,
Happy Wonderful 61st Birthday – I have decided that numbers mean absolutely NOTHING, it’s the state of mind that determines or shows how old you are!!! I am similar to you, although “only” 45, I hang around – and amazingly attract younger people more than people my age, who can’t really “cope” with me, as I am pretty lively and still like to do many things I loved when I was 20 years younger! I have finally decided this year that I will not give in to the pressures of society that you “have to behave your age”, and surprisingly enough I find that I meet more and more people accepting me the way I am! So I hope that I will also stay being like you as I get older, also looking forward to the future instead of being scared of it (because one gets older) ;)!
Have an absolutely brilliant day, you look gorgeous and I believe that this will stay as long as you keep young at heart!!!
    Best wishes and love!

  9. Hi Astrid,

Oh, thank you so much for your birthday greetings and all your wonderful words of wisdom.

I know, it is an inner feeling of agelessness that is so wonderful to have.

When I saw Deepak Chopra on TV a few months ago and he was asked his age, he actually did not give it, basically because our culture seems to have such an emphasis on physical age, and he likes the emphasis on the spirit or soul of each person.

I wish you much success and happiness and to remain young at heart – and in spirit and soul!
    Diana

  10. Happy Birthday Diana!

You are gorgeous! I never think about age but I tell you, I would have never thought 60 and if I did, I would have thought mid 40’s.

Congratulations, I’ve got a lot of work to do ’cause next month… I’m 50! 🙂

  11. Hi Regina,
Oh, thanks so much for your compliments!

Yes, I am not age-centered (or at least I don’t think I am!) – but I seem to have really gotten carried away with celebrating this birthday – and it has been wonderful to receive emails, Twitters, phone calls, comments on my blog, and I’m enjoying every minute!

Wow — you look incredible, and Happy Birthday in advance – be sure and let us all know when you turn 50 next month! That is wonderful and life just keeps getting better and better!

    Diana

  12. Diana

I’m with the others, complete shock when you said your age ! but what’s more impressive is your attitude, I think that’s what’s the most important, I know a number of people still in their 50’s who appear to be winding down iykwim ! and you are barrelling along at the rate of knots ! great inspiration for the rest of us coming up behind 🙂

  13. I hope you had an awesome bday Diana. 🙂 I must say, my jaw dropped when you mentioned how old you are. You look fantastic!

Here’s to many more great birthdays – Cheers. 🙂

  14. Hi Marie, Jenn, Darina, Aurelia, Cindi, Wendy…..

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!

You know it really feels so wonderful to receive your birthday wishes and your compliments.

I had low self esteem during many periods of time during my 20s, 30s, and early 40s….. it is only in the past 15 years that I really started to “love myself”… and not from an ego point of view – but from a “soul” point of view – and to see those “soul” qualities in others too.

So, it is never too late!! — and my goal is to share vitality, abundance and wisdom that has finally come to me… with others!!

It’s wonderful having each of you in my life.

    Thanks again
    Diana

  15. Happy Belated Birthday Diana!!! You look absolutely wonderful! I hope you had an awesome birthday 🙂
