Peace What Is Inner Peace?
The Importance Of Achieving Real Inner Peace
Inner peace is the act of achieving an internal state of calmness despite whatever is happening in your life. Despite how you’re feeling on the inside or what’s happening to you externally, you maintain a sense of calmness and composure.
A common misconception is that people who achieve it don’t face any struggles, anxiety, or stress in their daily lives. Quite the opposite is the truth:
People who find and feel inner calmness aren’t magically impervious to life’s struggles and hassles. Just like everyone else, they experience hardship, challenges, and obstacles just like every other human being.
Stress and Struggle
The trick involves embracing and embodying it even though you’re also experiencing stress and struggle. No human being is perfect or living a mistake-free life; everyone will experience tough times during their lives.
However, people who achieve inner peace understand the importance of nurturing their innermost sense of calmness to keep themselves emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically well, no matter what’s currently happening in their lives.
Though they still experience troubles like everyone else, people can bring themselves through those troubles with strength and determination.
I have been incorporating yoga into my life for almost 50 years. Sometimes I do go months without yoga, but often I practice yoga and meditation daily.
See the above video, which I (Diana Walker) filmed in our little town of Salmon Arm, BC, Canada – “Peace In the Park” in 2015.
One of my favourite ways to achieve Peace is to use Young Living Essential Oils.
My favourite Blend is called “Peace and Calming”

I don’t do yoga, but I can totally agree with many of your thoughts on inner peace. We can have this even when we have trials, if we let God take away our stresses and worries. I’m very glad He can bring us this peace.
Blessings!

I completely agree! I find that when I am able to achieve inner peace, it really helps me get through whatever is happening in my life. It’s like a calm little oasis that I can always retreat to no matter what!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Diana! 🙂
Inner peace never leads you to dissatisfaction. I agree with your points. Inner peace will not enter into your life until you want it. I agreed that we should not judge ourselves on the basis of our productivity.
Thank you, Laurie! I appreciate your comment. Yes, I’m very glad God can bring us peace. Thanks again! Diana
